Dear Premier Danielle Smith,
I hope this letter finds you well. As a concerned Albertan, I am writing to seek clarification on your and your party's position regarding the involvement of the United Nations (UN) in the lives of Albertans and Canadians at large.
Recently, you expressed skepticism towards Prime Minister Trudeau's goal of achieving 100% zero-emission new vehicles by 2035, deeming it as "a disaster." Claiming the provincial government will do "everything within its legal jurisdiction' to make sure that the new federal mandate for electric vehicles doesn't make its way into the province." While I appreciate your frankness, it has sparked my curiosity about your broader perspective on the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their influence on our nation's policies.
Some members of the Federal and Provincial Conservatives have publicly expressed reservations about organizations like the World Economic Forum (WEF). I am eager to gain a comprehensive understanding of the UCP's stance on the UN and all its subsidiaries including World Health Organization (WHO), UNESCO, and other entities such as the WEF which influence policies such as education, environmental initiatives, and social ideologies.
Upon initial observation, the federal political landscape may give the impression of stark opposition between the left and right wings, with frequent disagreements between federal and provincial governments. However, a deeper examination reveals a more nuanced reality. Despite surface-level differences, it becomes apparent that there is a certain alignment between provincial governments, including Alberta, and various initiatives championed by the United Nations (UN). This seemingly paradoxical connection raises questions about the authenticity of the political charade presented to the people. As citizens, understanding the intricacies of these alignments becomes crucial in forming a comprehensive perspective on the true dynamics at play within the federal and provincial political spheres.
The Alberta Government's Jurisdictional Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework is but one initiative that was developed and aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The UN is an unelected, unaccountable foreign entity with which our Alberta government has clearly aligned. We the people of Alberta believe that now, more than ever, it is imperative to reclaim our sovereignty and chart our own path free from the constraints of the United Nations (UN) and its affiliated organizations.
E-Petition 4623, a Federal petition sponsored and supported by Conservative MP Leslyn Lewis, calls upon the House of Commons in Parliament assembled 'to urgently implement Canada's expeditious withdrawal from the UN and all of its subsidiary organizations, including WHO'. This petition represents a collective voice, echoing the sentiments of many Albertans who yearn for true sovereignty.
While we understand that complexities surround international relations, we believe now is the time for Alberta to reclaim its autonomy and chart a course that reflects the will and desires of its people. We invite you to be a champion for our cause - our right to govern ourselves and reap the rewards of our provinces abundance.
By supporting this petition, you have the opportunity to stand alongside the people you represent and contribute to a movement that aims to free Alberta and Canada from what some perceive as a stifling regime. Your support on E-Petition 4623 would not only align with the aspirations of many Albertans but also signify a commitment to the principles of democracy and self-determination.
We, the people of Alberta, stand united in this endeavour and look to you, our elected leader, to be a vocal advocate for our shared vision of a sovereign and prosperous province.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. We eagerly anticipate your support on E-Petition 4623 both personally and publicly.
May the dawn of the New Year empower you to lead this province away from the clutches of the malevolent forces, steering it towards a future bathed in the radiant glow of justice, compassion and genuine freedom.
I look forward to your response in the very near future.
Sincerely,
